Creative
The creative domain is about natural talents in imagining new ideas, coming up with inventions, and being original. It means being able to think of things in new and different ways that others might not see.
When someone has high potential in creativity, they often show unique ideas, new ways of doing things, and cleverness that help organise ideas, pictures, words, sounds, movements, or objects (including digital media) in ways that benefit or interest others.
Dance Opportunities
Our Senior Dance Group have regular, weekly rehearsals with Miss Turvey, to develop their dance and performance skills and talents over time.
The SDG performed at important school events, including the popular annual school production.
Performance Recognition
Jayden won the Peta Phimmachanh Performing Arts Award for 2025. He performed the lead role as Willy Wonka in the school production of 'Pure Imagination'.
At Cabramatta Public School, we pride ourselves on providing performance opportunities, discovering talent, developing skills and rewarding amazing students like Jayden.
Drumming Workshops (Cabramatta High School)
Ten of our High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) music students from Stage 2 and Stage 3 took part in a drumming program with Cabramatta High School. They worked together, used their creativity, and had fun playing music as a team.
Visual Arts Exhibition
The Visual Arts showcase was a fun way to show off our students’ creativity and art skills. First, the class teachers picked some of the best artworks from their students, choosing pieces that showed effort and talent. Then, Mrs McKeon and Mr Fry looked at these artworks and decided which ones were the best. Two students from each class were picked as winners because of their great work. This event helped celebrate everyone’s hard work.
Music Showcase
The recent music showcase, organised and led by Mrs Sun, highlighted the exceptional talents of our High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) students. Students from various stages performed with great skill, creativity, and passion, sharing a wide range of musical pieces. A special part of the event was the visit from the Cabramatta High School Band, featuring former Cabramatta Public School students who inspired and motivated our younger musicians with their expertise and experiences.
