At our school, students have the option to participate in Special Religious Education (SRE), depending on what is available. These classes are delivered by approved providers.
When enroling your child, you can choose from the approved SRE options offered at our school. Students who do not attend these classes engage in supervised, meaningful alternative activities.
You are welcome to change your selection at any time by informing us in writing or through the online form if available.

At Cabramatta Public School, our longstanding Community Language Program (CLOTE), established since the 1980s, sets us apart by offering expert-led language instruction from qualified teachers. This program provides students from Kindergarten to Year 6 with two hours of dedicated language classes each week during their teacher’s release from teaching time.
Aligned with the NSW Department of Education’s Language syllabus and integrated across other key learning areas, our program ensures a comprehensive and meaningful learning experience. Additionally, our Language Other Than English (LOTE) program welcomes non-native Vietnamese speakers, offering culturally rich classes that promote cultural awareness and appreciation.
This distinctive focus on language learning not only celebrates and preserves community languages but also fosters respect, inclusivity, and strong community connections—benefiting families by enriching their child’s cultural understanding and global outlook.
At Cabramatta Public School, we provide tailored support to help gifted learners grow and reach their full potential. We identify these students early, recognising their quick learning ability or strengths in creativity, leadership, problem-solving, or sport. Our teachers ensure they remain challenged with lessons and activities that match their talents. Families can be confident that their gifted child receives the encouragement and opportunities needed to thrive.

We support diverse learning styles and needs by using proven teaching strategies. Our teachers engage in ongoing professional development to ensure they deliver the best possible education.
