Student Representative Council (SRC)
At Cabramatta Public School, our Student Representative Council (SRC) helps make the school a positive and welcoming place by giving students a chance to take part and make a difference. The SRC encourages students to speak up and share their ideas and concerns. By being involved in decisions, students learn about how democracy works and understand their rights and responsibilities at school and in the community.
The SRC also helps students become leaders. Members meet every week to learn important skills like talking to others, working as a team, solving problems, and being responsible. These meetings help students grow into confident leaders who can make positive changes.
The SRC is also involved in helping the community and raising money. Members organise events to support important causes and work with the Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C) to raise funds for school improvements. This teamwork helps bring students, families, and staff together.
Another important job of the SRC is to listen to students’ concerns about wellbeing, facilities, or school culture. They work with school leaders to find solutions that make the school safe, supportive, and a great place to learn. Through all these activities, the SRC helps build a strong, caring community at Cabramatta Public School.
